So for whatever reason I did not take any pictures at the start of our trip at
Newboro. Could it have been that the amazing rainfall that started before we had the
tent up?
Anyway, the picture that I did take was on the way down at Smith Falls .. outside
the Burger King.
here is a context map:
The next morning (Saturday July 29 2000) we took off down Newboro Lake under sail. Actually now that I look at it ... this picture is Indian lake.
We were under sail because the 2Hp Evinrude that we have stopped working as soon as we left the dock! We had to paddle a little to get into Clear lake, then into Indian. Total trip time was about 3 hours with light winds on a run.
We met Tom at Chaffey's and bought a new motor.
While we were at Indian Lake we visited Joan's sister and brother in law and Andrew and I went for a water ski.
